About the Role

MPE Engineering Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Lethbridge. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for commercial and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial clients, including power distribution and emergency backup systems.
  • Develop and implement electrical system models using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide technical input and direction to junior staff and lead small projects.
  • Conduct site visits to validate adherence to specifications and design.
  • Mentor junior staff under the guidance of senior staff.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Eligibility for professional membership with APEGA (P.Eng.) or ASET (P.Tech.(Eng.)
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Revit drafting, electrical system building design, and commercial and/or industrial electrical consulting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design, installation, and code requirements of electrical systems in buildings.
