Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at MPE Engineering Ltd. in Lethbridge. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including power distribution, emergency backup systems, and electrical system modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Provide technical input and direction to junior staff and lead small projects.
  • Conduct site visits to validate adherence to specifications and design.
  • Mentor junior staff under the guidance of senior staff.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Eligibility for professional membership with APEGA (P.Eng.) or ASET (P.Tech.(Eng.).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit drafting, as well as electrical system building design.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design, installation, and code requirements.
