Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at MPE Engineering Ltd. in Lethbridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings, including power distribution and emergency backup systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Provide technical input and direction to junior staff and coordinate small projects.
  • Conduct site visits to validate adherence to specifications and design.
  • Mentor and support junior staff in their professional development.


Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Eligibility for professional membership with APEGA (P.Eng.) or ASET (P.Tech.(Eng.)
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Revit drafting, electrical system building design, and commercial and/or industrial electrical consulting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design, installation, and code requirements.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
