Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account special requests and preferences
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as recommendations for local attractions and activities
  • Exchange foreign currency and process guests' departures, calculating charges and receiving payments
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, and respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Assist guests with special needs, and provide support and guidance as required
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls, and provide general information about hotel services and amenities
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front desk or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in multi-line switchboard and word processing software
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
