About the Role

As a key member of our culinary team, the Sous Chef will play a vital role in driving the success of our restaurant. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and embody the O&B values, inspiring the team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Monitor kitchen operations and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and front-of-house management.
  • Ensure accurate ordering, inventory, and receiving procedures are followed.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to promote a culture of culinary excellence and teamwork.
  • Conduct recruitment, training, and development initiatives, as well as performance management and employee coaching.
  • Utilize conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to drive positive outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience in a similar environment.
  • Passion for food and culinary excellence.
  • High level of integrity and discipline.
  • Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Reputation for attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a performance-based culture.
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on setting the example.
