Job Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis will play a crucial role in overseeing financial strategies and assessments, focusing on the creation and presentation of financial models and tracking discrepancies within the Procurement revenue sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Strategic Procurement team as a financial partner.
  • Offer financial insights and support to management for informed decision-making.
  • Lead financial planning efforts for the Procurement division, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate regular variance analyses to track financial performance.
  • Develop and manage financial dashboards that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct risk and operational analyses, proactively engaging with management to address potential issues.
  • Present financial performance metrics and dashboards to senior management.
  • Conduct cost analyses by activity and collaborate with the business to enhance cost efficiency.
  • Design financial models to assist management with various ad hoc requests.
  • Work in tandem with accounting and operational teams to ensure accurate expense coding in alignment with financial plans.
  • Lead or support special projects as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a focus on Finance or Accounting; CPA designation is mandatory. An MBA with a Finance specialization is also acceptable.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Demonstrated strategic, innovative, and proactive thinking, with a strong desire to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Solid analytical skills, with a high degree of organization and independence.
  • Ability to challenge existing processes with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven expertise in business analysis and financial modeling.
  • Flexible approach to business solutions, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • This role requires the ability to provide daily support to internal and external clients, necessitating proficiency in English communication.
