**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Group FP&A team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in evaluating the financial performance of our global operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and consolidate financial information to support senior management's decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Investor Relations team and MD&A and planning team to assist in the quarterly earnings process.
  • Support team members in the execution of special projects and in their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Understand key data sources and dynamically upkeep and increase control effectiveness of reports to ensure accuracy and provide historical view of various financial/operational Key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management use.
  • Prepare and manage various work planning activities, coordinating availability of various stakeholders for quarter-end duties.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or any other analytical training.
  • 3 to 5 years of finance or accounting experience.
  • Working towards a CPA, CFA related designation. Having a CPA, CFA designation, an asset.
  • Insurance industry experience, an asset.
  • Ability to interact and communicate clearly with a variety of people at all levels of the organization, including management and external contributors.
  • Bilingualism (French-English), spoken and written.
  • Willingness to learn, agile and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced/changing environment.
  • Strong planning/organization skills and attention/focus on details.
