**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Group FP&A team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in evaluating the financial performance of our global operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and consolidate financial information to support senior management's decision-making.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with the Investor Relations team and MD&A and planning team to assist in the quarterly earnings process.
- Support team members in the execution of special projects and in their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Understand key data sources and dynamically upkeep and increase control effectiveness of reports to ensure accuracy and provide historical view of various financial/operational Key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management use.
- Prepare and manage various work planning activities, coordinating availability of various stakeholders for quarter-end duties.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or any other analytical training.
- 3 to 5 years of finance or accounting experience.
- Working towards a CPA, CFA related designation. Having a CPA, CFA designation, an asset.
- Insurance industry experience, an asset.
- Ability to interact and communicate clearly with a variety of people at all levels of the organization, including management and external contributors.
- Bilingualism (French-English), spoken and written.
- Willingness to learn, agile and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced/changing environment.
- Strong planning/organization skills and attention/focus on details.
