**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Group FP&A team at Intact Financial Corporation.

As a Financial Analyst, Group FP&A, you will play a critical role in evaluating the financial performance of our global operations. Your work will involve preparing and consolidating financial information, as well as participating in various analyses that will inform senior management's decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Produce various reports and perform ad-hoc analyses using current and historical information of financial and operational results to support senior management's decision-making.
  • In collaboration with the Investor Relations team and MD&A and planning team, assist in the quarterly earnings process (key messages, Q&A, Internal Stats Supplement, etc.).
  • Support team members in the execution of special projects and in their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Understand key data sources, dynamically upkeep and increase control effectiveness of reports to ensure accuracy and provide historical view of various financial/operational Key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management use.
  • Preparation and management of various work planning activities, coordinating availability of various stakeholders for quarter-end duties (in charge of the team quarter-end calls/deliverables planning/tracking).

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or any other analytical training.
  • 3 to 5 years of finance or accounting experience.
  • Working towards a CPA, CFA related designation. Having a CPA, CFA designation, an asset.
  • Insurance industry experience, an asset.
  • Ability to interact and communicate clearly with a variety of people at all levels of the organization, including management and external contributors.
  • Bilingualism (French-English), spoken and written.
  • Willingness to learn, agile and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced/changing environment.
  • Strong planning/organization skills and attention/focus on details.
