Job Overview:

As a Ramp Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and secure handling of aircraft at the airport. Your leadership will ensure that all ground services operate smoothly, facilitating timely departures and arrivals for both passengers and cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise ground handling staff during shifts to ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols. Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Direct the safe movement of aircraft to and from gates. Manage the loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail efficiently. Ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of aircraft between flights. Operate specialized equipment for transporting luggage and servicing aircraft. Maintain punctuality and preparedness to uphold safety standards.

Additional Duties:

Assist in developing and managing staff schedules to guarantee adequate coverage for all operations. Be adaptable and willing to take on various tasks as needed to support operational requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Relevant prior experience in a similar role. Appropriate educational background. Necessary certifications or licenses as required. Security clearance or airport badge as applicable.

Physical Demands:

Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to carry heavy loads up and down stairs. Frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing as part of job duties. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around operational noise.

Work Schedule:

AGI Canadian Company operates around the clock, requiring flexibility in work schedules to accommodate flight operations, including weekends and holidays. Adherence to attendance policies is essential.
