We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Edmonton NW/St. Albert. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure seamless hotel operations
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to staff to improve performance
  • Negotiate with clients to secure business and drive revenue growth
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest services
  • Oversee maintenance activities, including repairs and renovations
  • Enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards
  • Address guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist with special events and functions, including weddings and conferences
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and improve hotel performance
  • Establish work schedules and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations

  • 1-2 years of experience in hotel management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office and hotel management software
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
