We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Boston Pizza Vaughan Mills. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
- Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning: Clean kitchen and work areas to a high standard.
- Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
- Work Environment: Urban area.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
