We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, salads, and entrees, using fresh ingredients and following established recipes.
- Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
- Inventory Management: Assist with ordering and inventory management to ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning equipment and utensils, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Transportation: Own transportation or ability to use public transportation.
