Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and coordinate special events to ensure seamless execution.
  • Kitchen Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain inventory and records, and inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate
Work Environment

As a Line Cook at Sunset Grill, you will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You must be physically demanding and able to work under pressure.
