As a Line Cook Supervisor at La Baracca, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
- Supervision: Oversee a team of 3-4 kitchen staff.
- Maintain comprehensive records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Analyze operating costs and relevant data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Demonstrate innovative cooking techniques and equipment usage to kitchen staff.
- Supervise the activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen personnel.
- Create and develop new recipes to enhance our menu offerings.
- Instruct kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events.
- Ensure food quality meets established standards and customer expectations.
- Plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs, including food allergies.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking methods, and safety practices.
Focus on Italian cuisine, bringing authenticity and creativity to our dishes.
Work EnvironmentThis is a permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
