Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced line cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist our chef during service, preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes to the highest standards. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting on the line with cooking and food preparation
  • Preparing ingredients and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Helping with inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the chef or management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an Italian restaurant or kitchen
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
  • A good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of the Italian language is required, both oral and written
  • A food-handler certificate or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire
