About the Role

At EMCO Corporation, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Counter Salesperson, you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch service to our walk-in customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sales support to customers, answering questions and processing orders in a fast-paced wholesale environment.
  • Research products and offer recommendations to customers, driving sales growth through effective merchandising and product promotion.
  • Enter, pick, and pack sales orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized counter area, including merchandising displays.
  • Follow up on backorders with vendors and provide customers with accurate delivery dates.
  • Process returns and warranty claims, adhering to company procedures.
  • Navigate and resolve customer inquiries, providing solutions and building strong relationships.

Requirements

  • College and/or University degree.
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset.
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
