At EMCO Corporation, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Counter Salesperson, you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch service to our walk-in customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sales support to customers, answering questions and processing orders in a fast-paced wholesale environment.
- Research products and offer recommendations to customers, driving sales growth through effective merchandising and product promotion.
- Enter, pick, and pack sales orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area, including merchandising displays.
- Follow up on backorders with vendors and provide customers with accurate delivery dates.
- Process returns and warranty claims, adhering to company procedures.
- Navigate and resolve customer inquiries, providing solutions and building strong relationships.
Requirements
- College and/or University degree.
- Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset.
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Desire to continuously learn and grow.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
