Customer Service Representative

Job Overview
At EMCO Corporation, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in providing sales support to walk-in customers and driving sales growth through effective counter merchandising and product promotion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sales support to customers, answering questions, picking, and entering orders in a fast-paced wholesale environment.
- Research products for customers and provide recommendations on our extensive product assortment.
- Drive sales growth through ownership of counter merchandising, product promotion, and generating leads for the Outside Account Manager.
- Enter, pick, and pack sales orders generated at the counter.
- Maintain and clean the counter area, including merchandising displays.
- Follow up on backorders with vendors and provide customers with accurate delivery dates.
- Process returns and warranty claims to customers, including paperwork in compliance with procedures.
- Navigate and find solutions for customer inquiries.
Requirements
- High standards of core values and integrity.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced business environment focused on customer service and/or marketing.
- A passion for identifying process improvements and new sales opportunities.
- Data management capability with attention-to-detail.
- A balance of fun, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
