The Youth Program Coordinator is responsible for upholding operational standards and managing both staff and volunteer leaders. This role focuses on overseeing and maintaining the vision and responsibilities for youth programming, particularly during Sunday sessions and midweek family activities.

The Coordinator ensures that families attending the program experience high-quality engagement on Sundays while also providing opportunities for deeper connections within the community beyond the weekly gatherings.

A passion for working with children, youth, and families is essential, along with the ability to equip and lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers in executing youth programs effectively.

This role provides leadership to the youth program by fostering a culture that guarantees an enjoyable and engaging experience for guests, creating intentional spaces for connection, and building active volunteer teams.

The Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that staff and volunteers collaborate effectively with parents, which may involve personal outreach, social gatherings, and training sessions.

Management and development of the youth program team are key responsibilities, with accountability for assessing the program's effectiveness and ensuring strategic alignment with the overarching vision in collaboration with church leadership.

Connecting volunteers and staff to the program's vision through established protocols, initiatives, and the implementation of standards is vital.

The Coordinator oversees communication platforms related to the youth program, ensuring that volunteers and associates engage effectively.

Maintaining an accurate and well-utilized database for the youth program is also a critical responsibility, along with managing all program-related equipment and supplies for events.


Support for church leadership during significant events such as baptisms and dedications is expected.

Actively pursuing relationships with individuals outside the church community is essential, inviting them to participate in events and services.

Each week, efforts are made to connect with and understand volunteers as they contribute to the program.

Assisting youth program staff with on-the-ground direction and overseeing overall operations is part of the role, including logistics for events.


Contributing to the youth program hub by participating in the planning, execution, and follow-up of events such as camps and workshops is also required.


Acting as a servant leader by inviting, mentoring, training, and equipping others to serve is crucial. The effectiveness of the program is measured by growth indicators such as attendance and participation in church activities.

Volunteers are encouraged to serve joyfully, motivated by the message of redemption and purpose.

Community engagement is fostered by providing opportunities for individuals to utilize their skills in meaningful volunteer roles, contributing to the work being done through the church.

Excellence in executing youth program events and experiences is a priority.

Building relationships with individuals outside the church community is essential, inviting them to participate in events and services.

Personal spiritual growth through prayer, community, and the gospel is encouraged.

Experience in serving within a church context is preferred, along with strong project management skills and a passion for leading families and volunteers.

This position typically requires 40 hours per week, including Sundays and four weekdays.
