About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Sushi J. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management

Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits and ensure financial stability.

Menu Planning and Pricing

Develop and implement menu plans and pricing strategies to drive sales and profitability.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.

Inventory Management

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies, and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.

Customer Service

Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

Health and Safety

Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the restaurant maintains a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Marketing and Promotion

Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.

Language

English.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
