Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced project management skills to oversee project execution effectively, including scope, timeline, budget, performance, safety, communication, human resources, contracts, materials, risks, and quality.
  • Manage complex multidisciplinary projects with significant scope and impact on revenue and industry standards.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and independent judgment, earning recognition as a practical and innovative project manager.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to strengthen relationships and enhance business capabilities.
  • Collaborate with skilled professionals across various disciplines on critical matters.
  • Identify and address complex project risks proactively.
  • Provide timely project updates to management, project teams, and clients through proposals, reports, and presentations.
  • Lead the creation of innovative technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Oversee vendor performance and facilitate interdepartmental collaboration to achieve project objectives.
  • Implement new strategies to enhance project efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure comprehensive project scheduling, including critical paths and milestones.
  • Maintain historical data for future project analysis.
  • Independently develop and present major proposals.
  • Establish clear Project Execution Plans outlining roles and responsibilities.
  • Mentor junior staff and review their work for accuracy.

Qualifications

  • A four-year degree in Engineering (Electrical, Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, etc.) or equivalent is preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary projects with a strong grasp of project methodologies.
  • Familiarity with nuclear power plant operations and design is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical and business processes and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in project accounting and scheduling software.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP) are considered assets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
