We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Senior Project Engineer Coordinator. This position involves a comprehensive understanding of project management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to all corporate protocols related to project oversight and administration.
  • Collaborate with various departments to guarantee access to the latest methodologies in budgeting, estimating, and scheduling.
  • Engage with engineering teams both internally and externally to share insights on enhanced designs and techniques.
  • Maintain communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and agencies to facilitate engineering exchanges.
  • Organize and lead meetings with project stakeholders to discuss project objectives and progress.
  • Direct discussions with internal staff, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals efficiently.
  • Consult with contractors and consultants pre- and post-contract award to encourage optimal methods and procedures.
  • Participate in initiatives to manage surplus equipment resulting from project cancellations.
  • Coordinate the collection and preparation of project-related information for planning processes.
  • Assist in the development of project assessment documentation.
  • Facilitate the preparation of preliminary project studies and reports for senior management review.
  • Initiate and oversee the creation of project control schedules, cost estimates, and performance specifications.
  • Negotiate with agencies for necessary approvals and licenses, advocating for favorable outcomes.
  • Ensure clarity in design and specification requirements, coordinating necessary adjustments.
  • Arrange meetings to synchronize requirements and progress among design, suppliers, and operations.
  • Maintain close collaboration with field operations regarding design, scheduling, and cost-related matters.
  • Provide management with regular updates on project progress.
  • Analyze cost variance reports, offering insights and recommendations for financial adjustments.
  • Execute additional project management tasks as dictated by corporate policies.
  • Supervise and guide staff involved in project-related activities, ensuring effective task management.
  • Oversee all phases of project engineering from initiation to final acceptance.
  • Conduct site visits to observe and evaluate techniques and equipment.
  • Contribute insights gained from observations to enhance project applications.

Qualifications

Education

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory capacity, coordinating design and development efforts for major facilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management is essential.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is necessary to fulfill the role effectively.
