Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer/Officer to join our team at Cpus Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc. as a Project Coordination and Engineering Leadership professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project coordination and leadership to ensure successful project delivery, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure project requirements are met and project risks are mitigated.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including design, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and contractors, to ensure project requirements are met and project risks are mitigated.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including financial, schedule, and quality metrics.
  • Develop and implement project control systems, including project management information systems (PMIS) and project control software.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to project team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project coordination and engineering leadership, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices, including design, procurement, and construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Primavera, and Asana.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Experience with project management information systems (PMIS) and project control software.
  • Experience with contract administration and negotiation.
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control.
