Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in assessing, implementing, and evaluating clinical knowledge to support the translation of knowledge to practice. You will demonstrate competency in practice, program design and implementation, monitoring and evaluation of learning and education, leadership and professional practice.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, with a focus on adult education and person-centered care. You will have experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating traditional and non-traditional learning solutions, as well as a strong understanding of professional standards, current evidence, and best practice guidelines.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 75 hours bi-weekly. The successful candidate will be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate who has a Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, with a Master's degree in Nursing, Health, Education, or Public Health preferred. You will have a minimum of three years of full-time clinical nursing experience within the last five years in a relevant service area, and relevant CNA or other specialty certification. You will also have BLS-C (HCP) certification and recent experience as a Clinical Nurse Educator or Nursing Instructor.
