Culinary Operations Manager

About the Role
The Dexterra Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to lead our culinary team and drive the success of our food service operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in all aspects of our culinary operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement culinary strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
- Lead and manage a high-performing culinary team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure staff are equipped to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Manage food costs, inventory, and supply chain logistics to ensure optimal profitability and minimize waste.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless operations and optimal pricing.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement menu planning, pricing, and promotional strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of food safety, quality, and inventory management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Red Seal Chef Status or equivalent culinary certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a high-volume food service environment.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing profitability in a culinary leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex business challenges.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and familiarity with food service management software.
