Job Summary:

The Heritage Inn Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff to ensure excellent service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and complaints.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and schedules to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
  • Ensure all new employees are properly trained and equipped to provide exceptional service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Monitor and control inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize restaurant efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Proven experience in food and beverage operations, with a strong understanding of hospitality industry standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
  • Food and Beverage Server Certification is an asset.
  • Ability to apply safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment.
