Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in Cranbrook, British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training to staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and schedules of the department staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Respond promptly to guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Ensure all new employees are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Food and Beverage Server Certification is an asset.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
