Key Responsibilities- Organize and manage special culinary events
- Assess food portion sizes and associated costs
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes
- Ensure dishes are safe for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Prepare specialized meals for patients as directed by a dietitian or head chef
- Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and safety practices
- Manage inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment
- Oversee kitchen staff and assistants
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
- Oversee overall kitchen operations
- Expertise in sushi preparation techniques
- Specialization in Japanese cuisine
- Must have own transportation
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Access to public transportation is available
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
