Client Relations and Patient Safety Coordinator

Join Pan Am Clinic as a Client Relations and Patient Safety Coordinator and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in Winnipeg.
Job Summary:This role supports quality improvement and patient safety across the Winnipeg health region. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Client Relations team and Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Unit to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Intake, assessment, referral, or resolution of requests from patients, clients, residents, families, and the public.
- Intake, assignment, designation, and entry of patient safety events.
- Correspondence with Manitoba Health and Seniors Care for completion of assigned processes.
- Entry and management of files in RL Solutions (Risk and Feedback).
- Minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare setting or health information services.
- Experience using RL Solutions (Risk or Feedback modules) is an asset, as well as proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and other computer systems.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in a health-related discipline.
- Medical terminology is an asset.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
