About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, where you will play a critical role in building trust and rapport with patients, care home residents, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with patients, care home residents, and their families to ensure their concerns and complaints are heard and addressed.
- Facilitate conflict management and complaint resolution for complex and sensitive situations.
- Act as a liaison between patients and site/service stakeholders to respond to complaints and critical incidents.
- Receive, acknowledge, and respond to patient concerns and complaints in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with patient safety to provide consistent communication during critical incident reviews.
- Triage requests, suggestions, concerns, and complaints following established processes and navigate resolutions to ensure all concerns are given impartial consideration.
- Provide input and recommendations for quality improvements based on patient feedback.
- 5 years of experience working directly with patients and families.
- 3 years of experience applying quality, risk management, and patient safety principles and procedures.
- 3 years of experience delivering services to culturally diverse individuals.
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline.
- Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body.
