Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Transport Coordinator to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients and medical equipment within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients and medical equipment to various departments and locations within the clinic, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transfers and ensure seamless communication.
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment, including oxygen therapy and other life-support devices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and protocols.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient transportation or logistics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and patients, as required.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
