Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Account Representative to join our team at Eric Gruscyk - Desjardins Insurance Agent. As an Insurance Account Representative, you will play a key role in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation and Appointment Scheduling: Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate insurance products and services.
  • Customer Service and Support: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Marketing and Sales: Work with our agent to establish and meet marketing goals, develop sales strategies, and implement effective sales techniques to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Proactive in problem-solving and able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand insurance products and services, as well as market trends and competitor activity.
  • License Requirements: Property & Casualty license (preferred) and ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
