Account Executive RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a prospect list, selling commercial insurance policies, and building strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a prospect list through direct solicitation and develop centers of influence
- Sell commercial insurance policies and provide excellent customer service
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, including visiting customer sites
- Stay up-to-date on market knowledge, products, and pricing issues and opportunities
- Prepare proposals and arrange for account placement with insurance carriers
- Support customers with the claims process and provide proactive support to the department
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and deadlines
- Able to work both individually and in a team environment
- 5-7+ years industry, sales, and customer service experience
- Commitment to continual learning: CIP, CAIB designation or working towards completion
