A successful insurance professional is seeking a qualified professional to join their team as an Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven individual who can help our business grow through value-based conversations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to identify customer needs and market appropriate insurance products and services.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Collaborate with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, including developing and implementing sales plans and strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in an outside sales or inside sales representative role, retail sales associate, or telemarketing.
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals and quotas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a dedication to customer service.
- Ability to multitask and make presentations to potential customers.
- Property and Casualty license (preferred) and Life insurance license within 90 days.
