Insurance Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Desjardins Insurance. Stephen Ostapchuk Agency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing leads, scheduling appointments, and identifying customer needs to market appropriate products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation and Appointment Scheduling: Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads and schedule appointments with potential customers.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Identify customer needs and preferences to market appropriate insurance products and services.
- Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Marketing and Sales: Work with the Agent to establish and meet marketing goals, and develop sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- OTL and/or LLQP License: Hold a valid OTL and/or LLQP license, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Insurance Sales Experience: Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance sales.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent written, verbal, and listening skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Be proactive in problem-solving and able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Customer Service Focus: Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and a desire to provide exceptional service to customers.
- Multi-Tasking and Presentation Skills: Be able to multi-task and make presentations to potential clients.
This role is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. This agent's employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
