Job Title: Cisco Voice Engineer (Hybrid)

Location: Montreal, QC

Overview:

The Cisco Voice Engineer will be responsible for advanced voice project initiatives and will engage in level 3 troubleshooting for voice systems and video server management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide level 3 support for Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and Unified Call Center Express.
  • Contribute to the upgrade processes for the aforementioned systems, including planning, execution, and testing.
  • Participate in the strategic planning for future upgrades to the latest versions of the systems.
  • Conduct level 3 troubleshooting for voice and video systems.
  • Collaborate with Cisco vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to the systems.
  • Manage configuration and maintenance of Cisco video servers (VCS and Expressway).
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a level 3 engineer with the specified products.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure, including Voice Gateways.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco Call Manager, particularly versions 12 and above.
  • Solid understanding of Unity and UCCx.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Client and ECB is preferred.
  • Experience with Cisco Video servers (VCS and Expressway) and video endpoints.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Oracle Session Border Controller and Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor.
  • Experience integrating PSTN telephone systems with TEAMS.
  • Familiarity with Vitec IPTV solutions.
