Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base in Canada, identifying new revenue opportunities, and driving growth through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our virtual portfolio team to engage, retain, and grow our customer base in Canada.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities within existing customer business units and new customer business units.
  • Develop and execute focused sales campaigns to build sales pipelines for our current customer base.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Success team to identify potential upsell and expansion opportunities.
  • Engage with customers to ensure value realization and capture value stories to share with other stakeholders.
  • Outbound prospecting and networking to solve customer pain points through value-based selling.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our market segments and applications for our solutions.
  • Manage the sales process from prospect sourcing to contract closure.
  • Perform market research to identify new market areas and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Foundational knowledge of the power generation, transmission, and utilities industry.
  • Outbound phone-based prospecting experience.
  • Experience working with CRM systems.
  • Excellent people skills to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand and identify customer goals and objectives.
  • Ability to map customer success plans through strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Capacity to respond to change and adapt to new situations.
Qualifications
  • BS in Business Management, Strategy, Economics, Communications, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years' experience in management consulting, technical account management, or enterprise software sales.
  • Energy technology industry experience desired.
  • Consistent record of achieving targets and goals in a sales setting.
  • Significant customer-facing experience leading enterprise-type customers through business or technology transformations.
