We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our Corporate HR team based in Toronto, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support on HR-related matters to Managers, Leaders, and Staff.
  • Partner with leadership teams to execute human resources and talent strategies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for client groups in the delivery of corporate HR programs.
  • Work collaboratively with the HR Manager to develop and implement HR initiatives.
  • Monitor policies and processes to ensure alignment with provincial employment standards.
  • Support Managers with performance management and talent management.
  • Manage incoming HR Advisor inquiries.
  • Enhance relationships with operations/project teams by providing HR assistance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • ~5-7 years Human Resources experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an HR Advisory/HR Business Partner capacity.
  • ~ Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.
  • ~ Previous experience within the Engineering and/or Construction industry, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity.
  • ~ Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly changing project-based environment.
  • ~ Results-oriented and have a demonstrated strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • ~ Solid work ethic, takes initiative, a high respect for confidentiality, and sound professional judgment.
  • ~ Strong Microsoft Office skills required, advanced knowledge of HRIS systems, and experience within ERP systems.
