About the Role: As the Student Nutrition Program Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the health and educational outcomes of children in the Region of Peel. Your leadership will ensure the effective delivery of nutritious meals to over 160,000 children through various programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster collaborative relationships with schools, community members, and partner organizations to achieve program objectives.
  • Engage in local fundraising efforts to support program initiatives.
  • Work with community agencies to secure resources and support for program participants.
  • Maintain consistent communication with program locations, representing the organization with professionalism.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the safe and effective operation of programs.
  • Develop and update program information materials as necessary.
  • Support and collaborate with volunteers to enhance program delivery.
  • Oversee the launch of new program sites.
  • Assist in engaging parents and students to promote program success.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of program data in compliance with Ministry guidelines.
  • Document site visits and manage all relevant program materials.
  • Inventory program equipment and manage requests for new resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the local community and the Ontario Student Nutrition Program.
  • Understanding of both public and separate school systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a large charitable organization.
  • Results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
