Purpose:
The Atkinson Centre for Mature and Part-time Students is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to transfer students at York University. Our team is committed to fostering a hub for transfer students, promoting academic success, and enhancing their overall university experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and consultations to develop transfer student-specific resources and programs. Compile and revise student success materials for presentations and online resources. Support the facilitation of student success programming, including workshops and peer-to-peer initiatives. Collaborate with the Division of Students Communications team to host online resources. Coordinate the work of work-study students and assist with recruiting and training. Design and implement learning modules and training workshops, assessing their impact on transfer student success. Provide support for ACMAPS in fostering a transfer student community at York University.

Requirements:
One to two years of experience in organizing and leading student success programming. Proficiency in conducting research and evaluations. Knowledge of post-secondary institutions and experience working with transfer students and mature/adult student populations. Familiarity with teaching and learning principles, universal accessible design, and student success engagement practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and initiative.

Technical Skills:
Intermediate level of Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Knowledge of course management software, electronic mail, list-serves, and online record systems. Experience updating content and organizing websites using software like WordPress. Familiarity with social media platforms, policies, and guidelines.
