Job Opportunity

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team in providing nutrition education and support to clients with mental health and addiction issues. As a key member of the interprofessional team, you will work closely with clients, healthcare professionals, and other staff to deliver optimal nutritional care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and facilitate nutrition education sessions for clients
  • Assess clients' nutritional needs and formulate care plans
  • Counsel individual clients and consult with clinical staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interprofessional team

Requirements

  • Comprehensive dietetic internship from a Dietitians of Canada accredited program or equivalent
  • Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • Strong interpersonal and group facilitation skills
  • Effective communication and computer skills
