Job Summary

The YMCA of Greater Toronto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Nutrition Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Student Nutrition Program, you will be responsible for providing leadership, collaboration, and supervision to our programs across the Region of Peel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with school programs, community members, and other organizations to achieve program goals.
  • Participate in fundraising activities and consult with community-based agencies to obtain resources for the program.
  • Communicate effectively with program locations, providing assistance, counsel, and leadership to ensure safe operation.
  • Develop and prioritize program information packages, work with volunteers, and coordinate the start-up of new program sites.
  • Assist with data tracking, site visits, and equipment management, ensuring compliance with Ministry guidelines.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of local community, Ontario Student Nutrition Program, and public and separate school systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, organize activities, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
