Job Summary:

Bureau Veritas Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics and Analytical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Sample Logistics Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, preparation, and shipping of client samples.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process client samples, ensuring accurate and timely entry into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Organize and prepare samples for analysis, adhering to strict quality control and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate the shipping of samples to clients, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sample Logistics Team, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Laboratory Support Team to ensure seamless sample processing and analysis.
  • Identify and escalate any issues or concerns related to sample receipt, processing, or shipping.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or equivalent experience in a laboratory or logistics environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory information management systems.

  • Changing priorities and balancing workload to meet tight deadlines.
  • Some lifting and carrying (up to 40 pounds) and may involve long periods of standing.
