Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Comox Fireplace and Patio. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Processing
    • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
    • Process and store inventory in a timely and efficient manner
  • Inventory Management
    • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet business needs
  • Shipping and Distribution
    • Prepare and ship products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
    • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery
  • Warehouse Maintenance
    • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and well-maintained
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Working Conditions

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a variety of equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
