About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Riyasat Sweets and Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and implement procedures to maintain these standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets, and manage kitchen operations to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
