Optical Retail Manager

Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales growth and profitability through effective leadership and strategic planning.
- Develop and implement store business plans to maximize sales and profit.
- Lead a high-performing team by providing coaching, guidance, and feedback.
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain a positive store environment.
- Manage store operations, including inventory, visual merchandising, and employee scheduling.
- Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current and valid state Opticianry license.
- 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
- Knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies.
- Strong basic math skills and familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- College degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience in leadership positions within retail and customer service industries.
- Knowledge of basic optics and current store merchandise.
- State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
