Food Preparation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Mucho Burrito. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and implement procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide guidance and support to ensure the success of the kitchen team.
As a Culinary Specialist at Mucho Burrito, you will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet the demands of a busy kitchen.
Personal Qualities- Dependability: Demonstrate a high level of dependability and reliability in your work, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Communication: Possess excellent oral communication skills, able to effectively communicate with kitchen staff, management, and customers.
- Initiative: Take initiative to identify and implement improvements to kitchen operations, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
