Food Preparation Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food according to recipe and portion control
- Supervise and train junior staff members
- Bake, roast, steam, broil, and cook food to a high standard
- Responsible for presentation and garnishment of dishes
- Provide exceptional customer service and promote a positive dining experience
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Journeyman's papers or Red Seal certification
- Four years of progressive culinary experience in a large kitchen
- Meet departmental standards for Prep Line Cook in all areas of the kitchen
- Well-rounded in all areas of the kitchen with a basic knowledge of pastry
- Demonstrate leadership and training skills
- Proficient in Garde Manger, Hot Kitchen, and Line Cooking
- Participate in a three-course cooking test during the interview process
- Ability to handle stressful situations in an appropriate manner
