About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at True North Star Subs Inc. as a key member of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and excellence in our culinary offerings.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources, including inventory management and supply chain logistics.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, initiative, and teamwork skills.
  • Work Conditions: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
  • Language: English.
